The 3148 followed on from the 3145-3. Again a maximum of 2 Megabyte of monolithic storage and 132K of reloadable control store. CPU cycle time was 180-270 nanoseconds. Internal channels and ISC similar to the 3145. Four block Multiplexer channels were standard and a channel to channel adapters was available as a feature. The consul changed as with the 3138 and we now had a 3278 style monitor. Power was supplied by the 3047 Motor Generator.
